Mummu were approached by digital broadcasters Little Dot Studio to deliver a 2D & 3D animated brand awareness film to help convey global energy provider Shell’s ambition to be a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, or sooner.
Challenged to create an approachable illustrative style that was in keeping with Shell’s established corporate brand identity; the Mummu team used bold colour combinations and subtle textures, along with motion graphics and frame-by-frame character animation.
Deliverables included a two-minute film to be shown on Shell’s official YouTube channel, as well as cutdowns re-formatted to be shown via social channels including Instagram Stories. The animation was also localised for international audiences to help drive the #MakeTheFuture campaign.
