The world is open for business again and tourists are taking off! Mummu Studio partnered with BBC Storyworks to create a global animation campaign that highlights how businesses worldwide, no matter the size, can sell to more tourists who are looking to pay like a local by using Alipay+.
BBC Storyworks’ Creative Director, Melanie Clancy sought the help of Mummu Studio because of her previous experience of working with the Mummu Health team on another global campaign for the pharmaceutical brand Band-Aid. Melanie was looking for a unique and eye-catching illustrative style, which while being informative, could be brought to life with fun and dynamic motion.
The campaign ran as a 30-second television commercial on BBC Global News channels and as a 60-second explainer animation on BBC News global website and social channels. The wide-reaching campaign aimed to help Alipay+ break into new European markets, and retain users in Asian markets where it is already a widely used and popular payment platform.
